Exploring Kashiwadai in Hachimantai

 

As we were looking at houses around the Kashiwadai (柏台) area of Hachimantai, we had a closer look. While we were there, we visited Matchan Market and the restaurant LAMP.

Matchan Market (松っちゃん市場)

We stopped by Matchan Market. It was quiet during our visit, with only a few vendors present, which is not surprising for December. We walked around and saw some fresh produce and local goods. Even though it was not busy, it was nice to see what the local community has to offer.

Restaurant LAMP (レストラン LAMP)

Next, we went to LAMP for lunch. We ordered curry and tonkatsu. Both dishes were filling and perfect for the cold weather outside. The meal was a great way to warm up after our time at the market.

Conclusion

Overall, our visit to the Kashiwadai area was enjoyable. Matchan Market and LAMP provided a good look at local life and food. If you're in the area, these spots are worth a visit.
